  1. This is a little tribute drawing to my kitty Josephine who died on Saturday.
When I was little, I used to beg my parents for a cat.  Every week at the school library, I would check out a different book about cats, trying to learn everything I could about them.  In third grade when we learned how to write 5 paragraph essays, I wrote a persuasive essay asking for a cat.  I was cat crazy.  It wasn’t until high school that my parents finally caved.  We adopted Josephine from the Anti-Cruelty society on March 14, 2004 (we gave her the middle name Pi because it was Pi Day).  She was a fluffy calico Scottish Fold, and she was just the sweetest thing ever.  She was my pal.  She was very cuddly and grumpy and gave lots of kisses, and she really helped comfort me when my mom died.  We had a great life together.  I’m going to miss her terribly, but she will always be in my heart.
